The Pioneers Cross Country team is gaining steam on the recruiting trail picking up another commit from Boyle County Cayden Adams.
Adams will be the fourth Boyle County cross country athlete that has either signed, committed, or is currently running for the Pioneers. He will join Micah Brown (current runner), Hunter Ellis (current runner), and Hannah Powell (current signee).
Coach Tribble speaks highly of Adams saying, "He is truly an elite distance runner with a multitude of running styles and abilities, he can adapt to any course or distance and still run as though he is sprinting."
Adams is excited to be a part of the Cross-Country family here at CU-Harrodsburg. Adams said, "I really got a chance to see what being a Pioneer meant during my visit and to be honest it was more about working to be the best version of yourself." Adding in "Coach Tribble and CU-Harrodsburg really worked with me and helped make it an easy choice."
The Pioneers are looking to make their first Cross-Country national tournament next season and Adams will be a big reason why if they do.
