Pioneers come out flat against Crusaders falling 88-69

The Pioneers fall to the Great Lake Christian Crusaders today by the final score of 88 to 69. The Pioneers were led by Kereion Douglas who posted a double-double effort in the loss with 14 point 11 rebounds. 

Chris Rawlins led the Pioneers in scoring however posting 17 points. The only other Pioneer in double figures was Antoine Darby who posted a 10 point, 6 steals, and 4 assists. 

The Pioneers came out today ranked number three in the country after starting undefeated in the NCCAA and Mid-East play dropped their first NCCAA and Mid-East game on the year. 

However, a short turn around is in store for the Pioneers who will be taking the Grace Christian Tigers Friday at Noon in Winona Lake, IN. The Pioneers defeated Grace Christian 75-69 just last week. 

The Pioneers will be able to get redemption later in the year when the Crusaders will visit the Pioneers at home on Friday February 12th the day before the Pioneers senior day. The Pioneers will look to bounce back to .500 on the season and to be 3-1 in conference play tomorrow.
