Pioneers Welcome Olivia Boggs as New Bowling Coach

Pioneers Welcome Olivia Boggs as New Bowling Coach
Campbellsville University Harrodsburg has named Olivia Boggs the new head coach of the Pioneers bowling program. Boggs, a graduate of CU Harrodsburg, competed as a bowler and golfer for the Pioneers.

Boggs is originally from Nicholasville, KY where she bowled for West Jessamine High School. She would go on to finish seventh in the state bowling championship for singles.

As a former competitor for the Pioneers, Boggs is focused on bringing success to the men and women of the bowling program at the highest level.

"I want to see the program grow to new heights both in and out of the lanes," Boggs said. "I love to watch the growth of the bowlers in the lanes, in the classroom, and more importantly in their faith."

While competing on the lanes is a strong focus for Boggs, her priority is producing a faith centered program.

"My passion is to serve people and to be able to do so while coaching is a dream come true," Boggs said. "My team will be faith centered and team oriented, and we will compete with integrity."

Campbellsville University Harrodsburg Director of Athletics Dalton Christopher is excited to see Boggs lead the Pioneers.

"It's a great feeling to introduce Coach Boggs as our head bowling coach. Boggs had a tremendous athletic career in Harrodsburg both as a bowler and a golfer," Christopher said. "Boggs uses her faith in all she does and boasts a deep knowledge of the sport."
