Pioneers sign five new transfers

Campbellsville University Harrodsburg signed five transfers yesterday afternoon. After hearing earlier this offseason that their basketball program was going to be discontinued at the Somerset campus players started to search for a new home.

Yesterday afternoon five of the former Somerset players found a new home at Campbellsville University Harrodsburg. Signing to join the Pioneer family for the next season.

Cuse Curry, KJ Rucker, Antwan Hurt, Alvin Thomas, and Keelan Kennedy are now officially brought on to be Pioneers.

Coach Austin Sparrow is excited to be able to welcome players that he is familiar in playing against. Over the past two season the two programs faced off in three different matchups. Sparrow had this to say, "We are excited to welcome all five of these young men to the program, each player will bring a unique asset to the program and will each contribute in their own unique way." Also adding, "We look forward to seeing what they are able to do for us this season in helping us with the journey of winning a regional and national championship."
