The Men's basketball team signed a sharpshooter out of Robertson County High School. Sebastian Dixon is one of Coach Sparrow's first signees of the off-season and is known as one of the best shooters in the state.
Out of the 10th region where he helped lead Robertson County to a district championship this season in an overtime win over Harrison County with 15 points. However, they would lose to a 10th region powerhouse in Mason County in regions Dixon would score 19 points in that game.
Coach Sparrow is excited to bring an addition that could help the team immediately this offseason. The Pioneers over the past few seasons have had great games from behind the arc but consistency is something that the Pioneers are looking to add to. Dixon could come in and make an impact early.
Coach Sparrow has this to say, "I look forward to having to change the nets in the gym over this next season with Dixon being such a talented three-point threat."
Also Adding in "He works very hard and will lead by example. He will push a lot of our players and make an impact right away with his perimeter game."
