Golf set to play for USCAA National Championship

The Pioneers golf team fresh off their NCCAA Mid-East regional this fall and their first ever national tournament berth in the NCCAA will travel State College, PA this spring to compete in the USCAA National Championship.

The Pioneers have been led by freshman Kameron Gehring who started to really find his groove during the regional tournament.

The Pioneers will be also taking with them Senior Parker Monhollen who has been the most consistent golfer for the Pioneers in his three seasons with the team. Monhollen is looking to end his career by helping lead the Pioneers to a national championship.

The Pioneers will also take golfers Elijah McKinnney, Jakob Begley, and Chance Presely.

Mike Kehoe is excited to be able to get up there and coach his team and looks to bring home the first national championship in the history of the Pioneers after being the first regional championship winner.

Mike Kehoe had this to say, "We have a really good chance to bring home a national championship, our golf team is starting to hit its stride and is ready to compete for the USCAA national championship." The Pioneers have played some tough courses this season and hope that it helps them when they go play for the USCAA National Championship.
