Kayla Thompson Commits to Lady Pioneers

Kayla Thompson Commits to Lady Pioneers

The Lady Pioneers have picked up their second commit in just as many days. Kayla Thompson, a 6'3"  center from DuPont Manul High School in Louisville, has committed to play for the Lady Pioneers next season.

Thompson will have major size now at the position to help out with the depth that is much needed at the center position. Thompson is excited to be able to continue her education and become a Lady Pioneer.

Head Coach Brian Tribble is excited to get Thompson on campus.

"At 6'3", her upside and potential are without limitation, she is a true center that will work hard on both ends of the court," Tribble said.

In basketball you can't teach size and that is something that Thompson will bring to the table for the Lady Pionners and could help in their run for a regional and national championship.

Head Coach Brian Tribble also want to talk to her charcter.

"She comes in with a strong faith in God and in her own abilities, which she has been waiting to showcase both, and I'm proud that she chose CU-Harrodsburg to help take her faith and basketball to new levels."

Faith is an important part of the Campbellsville-Harrodsburg community and we are excited to have someone who comes in sharing the life changing mission that we embrace here in CU-Harrodsburg.
