The Campbellsville University Harrodsburg Pioneers are showcasing current student athletes who are in the community working on the frontlines of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Today we are spotlighting another CU Harrodsburg student athlete working on the frontlines.
Whitney Brackett is a cheerleader on the CU Harrodsburg Pioneers Cheer Squad. When classes moved online for the remainder of the semester, she began working with Kroger to help customers who may be cautious about shopping in a store during the pandemic. She works with Kroger's Clicklist team, a vital service for shoppers during this time. Kroger's Clicklist service allows shoppers to shop online for their essentials, once the customer pays the team at the store will assemble the items for the customer and bring them to their vehicle outside. Stores have seen a massive influx of these services as customers maintain social distancing ordinances and guidelines.
"It is really helpful to people who are immuno compromised," Brackett said.
Whitney is a freshman at CU Harrodsburg and plans to return next season.
