Pioneers get Commitment from Boyle County Runner Hunter Ellis

Boyle County High School Cross Country runner Hunter Ellis has committed to run next season for the Campbellsville University Harrodsburg Pioneers. Ellis finished in the top of the "Boyle County All Comers Meet."

Ellis joins current runners Ingrid Meece and Micah Brown in building the foundation for a strong cross-country program for the Pioneers.

Head Coach Brian Tribble is excited to have Ellis joining the Pioneers next season.

"Hunter is a highly skilled and experienced runner on all terrains," Tribble said. "He will truly impact next year's team with his leadership and work ethic."

Ellis has a personal record of 19:29 in competition and is looking to cut his time down as he comes to Harrodsburg and gets ready for the competition. Coach Tribble also said, "He's run in some big races and looks forward to the collegiate level of competition."

Ellis is ready to get on campus and get running for the Pioneers next season. The Pioneers are ready to welcome the Boyle County product and get him to campus next fall and get him suited up in Pioneer gear on the course as they look to add to the success from last season.
