Pioneering the way with ESports

Campbellsville University Harrodsburg is doing some remarkable things in the athletics field. CU Harrodsburg will embrace their pioneering spirit in launching Esports for the Fall 2020 semester, becoming one of the first institutions within the NCCAA or USCAA to host the rapidly growing sport.

Esports will have their own arena inside the new Campbellsville University Harrodsburg athletics facility featuring gaming systems, monitors and a competition area.

Student athletes competing with Esports will stream competition and practice via streaming platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.

Some games that Esports will be competing in this fall are Overwatch and Rocket League. Spring Competition will feature Counter Strike and League of Legends.

Campbellsville University Harrodsburg will likely compete against programs such as Campbellsville University, Robert Morris University, WKU, Arcadia University, Northern Kentucky University and the University of South Carolina amongst other members in both the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) and the Collegiate Starleague (CSL).

Stay tuned to for more updates regarding the launch of esports.
