Today the Pioneers men's soccer had a big time signing as coach Paul Brooks welcomed Sam Maison out of Tates Creek High School. Brooks has welcomed his 5th signing since Friday for the men's soccer team.
Maison who was a part of a really good Tates Creek team this past season who finished the season at 14-4-2 losing to Henry Clay High School in the 11th region tournament. Henry Clay would go on to win the state championship.
Maison who is originally from Ghana and made his way to Tates Creek and has found himself successful on the soccer field for the Commodores. Maison will look to come in and compete for minutes right away in the first-year program under Paul Brooks.
Coach Brooks is working to finish up the class and is hoping to add a few more key pieces to help alongside Maison and the rest of the soccer signings. The Pioneers men's soccer team will compete in the NCCAA Mid-East along with teams Johnson Royals, Welch Flames, Grace Christian Tigers, Great Lakes Crusaders, and Boyce Bulldogs.
