CU Harrodsburg roars past Stratford

Campbellsville University Harrodsburg women's basketball started a two game road trip through Virginia with a game against Stratford University. The Tigers found themselves in a fight in the first half heading into the locker room with a five point lead. The offense for the Maroon and White came alive in the second half as CU Harrodsburg comes away with the win over Stratford University, 93-98.

Offense carried the way for the Tigers against Stratford University. Out of the seven players on the roster for the Maroon and White, six had double digit scoring.

Oriona Woods led all scorers with 29 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and three steals. E'moni Washington was one of two Tigers with a double-double. She ended the game with 14 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and two assists. Holly Christian held the other double-double for the Maroon and White with 12 points, 10 rebounds and two steals.

CU Harrodsburg rounds out the Virginia trip with a game against Patrick Henry College on December 1. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
